DJ ANTOINE909 Première fois le: 18/05/1997 ANTOINE909 fut le dj résident pendant 5 ans du club londonien CRASH depuis son ouverture en 1999. Il mélange un son tech, tribal et des vocaux populaires avec une pointe d'électro. Sa carrière commence en 1994 avec une résidence au SUBSTATION à Londres où avec son ami Tom Stephan (dj Superchumbo) ils remplissent SOHO chaque vendredi et attirent des "guest" tels que Danny Tenaglia ou Pete Heller. Dès lors, il est régulièrement invité en tant que guest à de nombreuses soirées londoniennes ainsi qu'à travers le monde: de Lausanne à Tel-Aviv, du Brésil à l'Italie, de la Suède à l'Espagne. En 2003, il joue à la Winter Music Conférence de Miami suivi par une tournée qui l'emmène à Chicago, Boston, New York et San Diego. Antoine909 sera aussi le DJ invité de la célèbre Circuit Party BLACK AND BLUE à Montréal et du premier festival gay européen: le LOVEBALL à Bruxelles en 2005 & 2006. Il enregistre sa première compilation pour CRASH avec Princess Julia et la promotion du CD le fait voyager dans le monde entier. Côté productions, on trouve ses morceaux originaux et ses remix sur des compilations telles que Global Underground ou des compilations de DJ Sacha et John Digweed ainsi que de Steve Lawler. Antoine remixes entre autre Superchumbo, Celeda, Wally Lopez et Lucca Ricci. En 2004 il est appelé à remixer également des figures de la scène pop telles que Soft Cell, Siobhan Fahey et les Sugarbabes. Il contribue à de nombreux show radio sur Kiss FM ou Ministry of Sound Radio. En Juillet 2004 il est l'invité du célèbre show radio londonien "Radio One essential mix" de Pete TONG. Il est depuis de nombreuses années le prestigieux résident-invité des Jungle Party au MAD et le Star DJ du Circuit Festival organisé par Matinée début août à Barcelone.   As weekly resident at CRASH every Saturday between Antoine909 is renowned for taking the dance floor to a darker, tribal, techy level. His London career began as resident of Soho's Substation alongside Tom Stephan who between them created an clubland phenomenon and attracted legends such as Danny Tenaglia, Pete Heller and the Boy's Own Parties. Antoine909 now appears on regular guest slots at the Gallery for Tom's highly lauded Chumbomundo night. His residencies have extended to monthly CRASH nights in Paris and frequent appearances in LA, San Diego, Rio de Janiero, Sao Paulo, Prague, Athens, Italy and Switzerland. With many productions to date, both solo and with partner Ogi B as "Montreal Men", Antoine909 gained widespread underground acclaim with the brooding "Tunnel Mix" of "Judy" (KULT RECORDS). The track trailblazed a path onto John Digweed's first BEDROCK album followed by an equally dark overhaul of BPT:'s "Moody" on the same album. Other mixes that gathered similar interest include the Antoine909 mix of CELEDA'S 'The Underground' and more recently Steve Lawler 'Rise' on the new "Foundation" Bedrock compilation, SUPERCHUMBO's "Revolution" for London records ffrr and STEFANO GREPPI's "Freedom is..." on Alternative Route and 'LA LUNA' by DJ Kucho and Wally Lopez which has featured in sets by heavyweights such as Steve Lawler, Tom Stephan and John Digweed. Having recently compiled and recorded the CRASH compilation with Princess Julia on Southeast Recordings, Antoine is currently promoting this and touring throughout the UK, Europe and the USA. He is also collaborating on solo work with Marc Almond and has finished the remix of Soft Cell's new single. His recent gigs in Miami for the WMC and consequent encore gigs there blew the roof off increased demand in the US has led to bookings from San Diego through Chicago and Boston. Antoine909 was also invited to play at the famous BLACK & BLUE circuit party in Montreal and in 2005 at the first gay european festival: the LOVEBALL in Brussels.
